Hi folks. I’m a journalist and writer stationed in Washington, D.C. I'm an energy/climate reporter for Axios, covering how lawmakers and policy-makers think about climate change, the electric grid, pipelines, nuclear, renewables, and the future of the U.S. energy mix. Previously, I covered energy policy for Bloomberg and national politics and business for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

 

I’ve written a wide range of stories on: the country's largest renewable energy project and largest lithium mine; the quandry of US-Pakistan relations; India's fragile electric grid; the identity crisis facing Pennsylvania coal towns in the 21st century; mental health in a homeless shelter in South Florida; Washington State’s most devastating wildfire.

I spend my days off: coffee, trail running, playing guitar, trying something new in the kitchen, trying something new at the bar.
